Remarksno formal experience but also not prone to over reacting. it takes a lot for me to decide to report something. - It seemed big, bright and very impressive. never seen anything quite like it before. i would have missed it if i hadn't left the house at the exact moment i did.

Terminal flash
ObservationYes
Remarksi remember a 3 part angled entry ( a bit like pebble skimming) but at a very steep downward angle from my perspective. there was a flash for each skim the first being quite large in comparison to the other 2.
Fragmentation
ObservationYes
Remarksone big bluey coloured flash suddenly, with a bright slightly curved white streak steeply downward leading to two more smaller versions of the same thing continuing downward until it disappeared below the horizon. I remember thinking this must be either a rock or debris re-entering. i've seen shooting stars before, but this seemed much closer, much bigger and more intense than anything id seen before. I was looking over in the direction of Gatwick airport. my house is almost directly under the flightpath only a couple miles from the runway. So i'm no expert at all but it did seem to me whatever this was could have made contact with the ground.
