Remarks | I was driving through the parking lot at my work when I saw it. The sky was already fairly light at 6:20 am with no stars visible so I was especially suprised. I happened to be looking at the sky just as it fell and lasted no more than 2 seconds. It fell quickly, almost directly straight down. It was very bright, white light and behaved very similar to shooting stars I've seen in the night sky, except it fell so close to the horizon it ended after disappearing behind the trees. I'd imagine it had to be quite large to be so visible at that time. Never seen anything quite like that. |
